“Joy does not simply happen to us.  We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day.”
Henri J.M. Nouwen
Bring some joy into your own life and into the lives of others!  The Miracle League of Las Vegas is always interested in attracting energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to make our player and fan experience “world class”.

Opening Day of our 2024 Spring Baseball Season is now set for MARCH 30th, 2024!

Thank you for volunteering!   We love our volunteers, and Buddies have as much fun as our players do!

As one of our able-bodied high school baseball player buddy volunteers put it: “Being able to share my love of baseball with the Miracle League players makes me feel good and makes me see how fortunate I am.  I love their enthusiasm and energy and talking with them about their favorite team and players and getting to know them.”

The Miracle League of Las Vegas proudly features nearly 1,000 community youth and adult volunteers annually, who are giving back to their community by volunteering as player Buddies, registration desk and concession stand staffers, coaches and pitchers, game announcers and umpires, entertainers, Buddy Coordinators, set-up/cleanup crew members, photographers and even website contributors.

  • We count on a specific number of volunteers each game day.  If you cannot attend as scheduled, PLEASE go back to the sign-up page (button above), and cancel your spot at least 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE.  If you do not cancel and do not show up as scheduled, you may not be allowed to volunteer in the future.

Age Requirement – Buddies must be at least 12 years of age or older.  Sibling Buddies can be younger by prior parental approval.

Attire – Shorts or jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes

Field Location – The field is located at 101 South Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, NV, near the intersection of I-95 and South Rancho Drive. The actual intersection is Mesquite and South Rancho Drive, directly behind the First Christian Church. Turn east on Mesquite and you will see it on the south side of the street.

COVID-19 Supplies – Miracle League provides (3) hand sanitizer stations around the ball park.  Face coverings and gloves will also be provided at no charge upon request.

Our Buddy volunteers will serve in (4) shifts each Saturday.  NOTE: Our 4PM game each Saturday is a Competitive Division game and does not require individual Buddies.  The (4) shift times are:

  • Morning Buddy shift | 7:45AM – 10:00AM
  • Late Morning Buddy shift | 9:45AM – 12:00PM
  • Afternoon Buddy shift | 11:45AM – 2:00PM
  • Late Afternoon Buddy shift | 1:45PM – 4:00PM

IMPORTANT!  PLEASE arrive a few minutes before your scheduled shift time.  If you sign up to be a Volunteer, PLEASE make a note in your personal calendar.  We are having issues with volunteers signing up way in advance of a given date, then forgetting or canceling at the last minute.  While we do understand that conflicts can pop up from time-to-time, PLEASE be respectful of our players and their families by treating your Volunteer sign-up as a commitment – because that’s exactly what it is. Now, more than ever…

Thank you!

The Miracle League model of involving community youth as volunteers at an early age helps promote community service values and a lifetime spirit of “giving back”.

  • Our League is not possible without our volunteers. One of our most valuable volunteers is our player Buddy. The Buddy assists an assigned player in playing their game, both at-bat and in the field. Players are paired with a “Buddy”, the Buddy is then with the player the entire game.  You won’t believe how much fun this can be, and how much it means to our athletes to have a new friend to share the game with! Our Buddies come from all sectors of the community. They can be students, moms and dads, brothers and sisters, business professionals or anyone interested in helping our athletes have a successful experience! Buddies must be at least 12 years of age or older.
  • Wanna Be A Buddy?  Please watch the short Miracle League training video below to understand the best ways to engage with our players so that they have a world-class experience on the ball field!
