Las Vegas, Nevada, November 24-25, 2017 – Miracle League of Las Vegas fielded it first-ever soccer team at the inaugural Las Vegas Thanksgiving Classic Exhibition at Stupak Park and Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex over the Thanksgiving weekend. Special thanks to our great friend and exhibition organizer, Sandy Castillo, who put everything together and brought her TOPSoccer team from California. Thanks also to our pal, Rich Ryerson, UNLV Men’s Soccer Head Coach, who came out both days to coach our players on the pitch (pictured here with Tyler of the Miracle League Padres).
Roxanne Loyed, Executive Director of the Miracle League of Las Vegas, commented: “The players and families from California were terrific, and everyone had a great time! The stage is set for our first soccer league game in the Spring.”
