Oscar Goodman, along with his wife Mayor Carolyn Goodman are advocates and generous donors to the Miracle League. According to Tim McGarry, one of the founders of the Miracle League, “Oscar became interested in the Miracle League project from the beginning. When we had to go before the City Council, I would talk with him about what needed to get done. Oscar always said, whatever you need from the city just let me know.” Oscar threw out the first pitch on Saturday, April 10, 2010. He and Mayor Carolyn Goodman continue to support Miracle League of Las Vegas today by volunteering their time at games and special events, as well as sponsoring a team. We are grateful for their kindness and generosity.
