Nathan Satomba has been playing the game of baseball for more than half of his young life. Like many 10 year olds, he is passionate about baseball. He is set apart from most 10 year olds, however, in a very special way.
Nathan first became familiar with Miracle League when he read about Bryce Harper, one of his baseball heroes, being honored by Findlay Toyota. At the event, Bryce and Findlay generously presented a check for $2,500 to Miracle League. Nathan researched Miracle League and told his mom, “I want to donate to Miracle League, too.”
He decided the perfect time would be on his 10th birthday. Nathan asked friends attending his Wet-n-Wild birthday party to please donate to Miracle League instead of giving him gifts. He truly wanted to give another kid the opportunity to play his favorite game. And, he did just that, raising $150 and donating every bit of it to Miracle League so others could have the same fun playing baseball that he does.
From the bottom of our hearts at Miracle League, we say: “Thank you, Nathan – you’re a very special young man!”
